Tule Lake Decoy Company Mallard Pair
Hollow carved mallard pair by the Tule Lake Company (Sacramento, CA) ca. 1920s. Paint is mostly good and original with nice combing. The neck filler has been replaced on both and the white bars on the drakes speculums and tail are old in use repaint. See page 556 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Each measures approximately 15” in length.
