Poitevin Brothers Mallard Pair
Exceedingly rare Eureka model mallard pair from the Poitevan Brothers (Pascagoula, MS) ca. 1920s. Paint is excellent and all original. These were designed to have removable heads that have since been permanently affixed to the bodies. See page 297 of North American Factory Decoys by Kenneth Trayer. Each measures 16.5” in length. This is the only pair of Eureka model examples I have ever seen or offered.
