Mason Decoy Company Pintail Pair
Good all original paint on this rare and nicely matched pair of standard grade glass-eye model pintails from the Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, MI) ca. 1905. There is honest wear on both and the drake shows a bit yellow under black light indicating an old coat of varnish or shellac has been applied. The drake measures 16.5” and the hen is 17” in length. It is very difficult to find good Mason pintails. These look awesome on the shelf.
