Mason Blue-Winged Teal Pair
Super early (pre-1900) standard grade, glass-eye model blue-winged teal pair from the Mason Decoy Company (Detroit, MI). Mostly original paint with the expected gunning wear for a pair of decoys approximately 125 years old. The hen appears to have old neck filler repair and a small amount of paint strengthening to the right side of the head along with an old eye replacement. The drake also has old neck filler repair and paint strengthening on both speculums. A rare and early pair of Mason teal. Each measures approximately 12” in length.
