Amiel Garibaldi Mallard Pair
Very rare pair of mallards from Amiel Garibaldi (Sacramento, CA) ca. 1940s. Style #4 as discussed on pages 521-530 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Paint is excellent and all original. Remnants of the makers signature remains on the bottom of both decoys. The consignor of this pair purchased these fine examples from the early California collector, Bill Mori in the early 1980s. Mori acquired them directly from the maker. Each measures approximately 17” in length. A very rare opportunity for the collector.
